Panic at the Disco have released 'The Ballad of Mona Lisa,' the first single from their long-awaited third album, 'Vices and Virtues,' due out on March 29.

The record is the band's first new release in three years, and marks the debut of the group as a duo, comprised of singer/multi-instrumentalist Brendon Urie and drummer Spencer Smith.

Although the Las Vegas natives have been reduced to two, their sound is just as lavish as it was on their previous releases, only delivered with a much more straightforward approach.

Like many of their other hits, the new single's chorus incorporates a melody that's hard to forget, as Urie sings: "Whoa Mona Lisa, you're guaranteed to run this town / Whoa Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown."

The band's recently-shot music video was directed by Shane Drake with whom the band collaborated on videos for 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' and 'Nine In The Afternoon.'

'Vices and Virtues' was produced by Butch Walker and John Feldmann, and is the follow-up to 2008's 'Pretty Odd.' Urie recently told Alternative Press, "It's been a long time coming, but we're really excited about the songs."
